Penguin Style February 2015

Hey penguins! This month’s catalog is for the Music Jam, and it is awesome! I don’t know why, but the resolution on these pics are really low…

We have new and old player cards this month, which are all superstar themed.

On the first page of member clothes, we have the rockin’ hair as shown on the cover. Those shoes were actually released for Halloween a while ago.

Someone who works at CP is clearly a Whovian. Who else would rock that ensemble?

These are all new clothes. They’re very simple, which I don’t know if I like.

The next few pages are full of popular items from the past few years. They look good, but we’ve all seen them before :p

The Penguin at Work is the One Man Band! If you wear the outfit, you will do a funny dance.

January 2015 Igloo Catalog

Hello penguins! As some of you may know, the Janurary 2015 Igloo catalog was released earlier this week. It’s still Star Wars Rebels themed. *le sigh*

This month’s featured igloo is Ezra’s Hideout. No idea what it is, but it does look a little TARDIS-y.

The Imperial Base and Secret Base igloos are back. The Imperial Base was from last year’s Star Wars party (was it last year?).

On the next two pages, we have more Star Wars furniture. I’m not going to comment on what I think it is for the sake of public humiliation.

These items are from last year.

Click on the Tatooine House to get the HD TV, which I have wanted to see back in CP for a long time! Thanks CP 🙂

Click on the Rebels rug to get a confetti blaster. Lots of fun for an igloo party.

 

I’m surprised at the lack of effort put into this catalog. Hopefully the party won’t follow the same play-a-game-to-get-a-free-reward pattern.

January 2015 Penguin Style

Hello penguins, sorry for not posting in so long. Anyways, I’m back with this month’s Star Wars themed Penguin Style, and honestly I’m not to impressed. I wish CP could go back to doing party catalogs.

This month’s backgrounds are ALL Star Wars themed, not even one that isn’t like “Hey, I don’t scream ‘Disney’s Star Wars”. It’s kind of sad actually.

I may be a pop culture guru, but I don’t know a thing about Star Wars. It’s probably best for me to skip the comments on the Star Wars themed outfits.

Okay, maybe I lied about skipping comments. But you could get some of these items for free last year.

If you click on the TIE Fighter you will get the Vintage Boots, which aren’t too vintage anymore because they’re constantly reoccurring in newer Penguin Styles.

As for the normal clothes, CP has brought back some oldies but goodies.

If you click on The Posh, you will get the Jade Necklace, which I haven’t seen in years.

The Penguin at Work is the same as the one from last May, I believe.

Honestly, I’m not too impressed so far. This party seems a little… dark for CP.

December 2014 Igloo Catalog

Hello penguins and happy almost-holidays! I’ve been super busy the past few days auditioning for the school musical, which explains the short delay.

Sadly, there are no new igloos this year! I was looking forwards to have a new Merry Walrus iggy 😦 Maybe they’ll give one away for members at the party?

We have some new blue furniture for Merry Walrus this year, but the candy cane and ornament chair have been seen in past years in different colors…

Same goes for the tree and wreath, but I do like the poinsettia plants!

I’m also pretty sure the table was in the Pizza Parlor last year.

Okay, but CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS TABLE FOR A SECOND. MY PENGUIN COULD FIT ON THE PLATE. WHAT EVEN IS THIS.

If you click on the table, you get a conga drum. Very random.

The next few pages have items that have been reoccurring for a few YEARS now. I wish they could at least switch the layout a little.

Click on the fireplace to get a snowflake, which hasn’t been in the catalog in a while.

What do you guys think? Honestly, I’m not too impressed with this. I’ve been seeing the same catalog for 2 years in a row, and the prices haven’t even changed.

Penguin Style December 2014

Hellooooo penguins! The holidays are off to a start with the awesome new, colorful catalog! Let’s take a look inside.

This year, all of your purchases from the Penguin Style will be donated to Coins for Change, giving CP a head start on that 😀

The player card backgrounds this year are very Christmas-y, with snowflakes, Christmas trees, and the North Pole.

Also in this catalog, we have some free items for members! This page has some holiday knit socks :0

This next page is really just the awesome graphics that the CP team makes but…

The Snow Day Parka is an old item from last year, but this year it’s available in purple.

Finally, the Penguin at Work is a toymaker. If you buy the whole outfit and wear it, you’ll do a special dance.

Penguin Style November 2014

Hi penguins! Long time no post! Anyways, today I’ll be looking at the Penguin Style for November with y’all! On the first page, we have some fresh threads for guys! The Popstar hair reminds me of a celebrity, but I can’t remember who :s

On the next page, there are some photos. If you click on the guy’s watch, you can get the Puffle Watch.

 

This page has chic new #OOTDs for girls! The Autumn Floral outfit looks like something I would wear in real life.

The next page has accessories. The cell phone is an old item from the Hollywood Party.

 

Get ready to sail! This page has recolored classic pirate costumes.

October 2014 Igloo Catalog

Hello penguins! I hope you’ve all been enjoying your October so far. I’m here today to show you the igloo catalog for this month.

This month’s igloo is the Ghostly Cavern Igloo. There was another one a few years ago similar to this one in green. Hmm…

 

 

I bought the igloo and put it in, but the location won’t show up, nor will it allow me to decorate it.

Anyways, the other igloos this month are the Trick-or-Treat igloo and the Eerie Castle. The castle is from last year.

 

This page has all new items, except the slime. Eww :s

 

This page has pumpkin decor. Personally, I prefer the older pumpkins but I only have one.

 

Click on the Moon (Moon=Egg. If you saw Doctor Who last week, you’ll get it) you can get a spider (wow I didn’t even think about how ironic that was. Doctor Who takeover confirmed).

 

Finally, we have slimy tentacles and the graveyard gate for a scary feeling.

 

 

Click on one of the stone puffles (Don’t blink. Blink and you’re dead) to get the candy basket :D`

 

In conclusion: I did find a way to make this post about Doctor Who.

October 2014 Penguin Style

Hello penguins, and welcome to the October 2014 Penguin style! As usual, I will go through the catalog and help you find all the hidden items.

This month’s player cards are spooky ghosts and puffles! My favorite is the haunted library 😉

The first page for members are girls items. These items are new and look fantastic!

The next page has revamped items from last year. I like the dress more in green, but the hair looked better in blue.

If you click on the green penguin’s shoes, you get the black studded shoes from last year.

The guys’ items are looking pretty fresh in red! The hair looks like it was edited from the TBM party…?

If you click his lower flipper, you can get the Trick-or-Treat Bucket. This item has been brought back every year, so no big surprise.

The first of the costume pages have the older Halloween costumes. Again, these items are brought back almost every year.

This page is my favorite! There’s Halloween SFX makeup on the right, and on the left there are masks! I like the Phantom mask 😀

Surprise, surprise! There’s a witch costume, redone in orange now with a broom!

The full-on body costumes are on this page. The Blue Dragon outfit is back by popular demand!

Click on the Pegasus wings to get the Raven Wings.

Furniture and Igloo Catalog August 2014

Hello penguins! As you might know, Club Penguin updated last night and the new furniture catalog is out! Let’s take a look inside.

On the first page is new, cheap furniture. The prices in this catalog are kind of all over the place

This page features some ice furniture, along with Olaf’s umbrella from “In Summer”.

There’s some more royal furniture on this page with the fireplace and Kristoff’s sled.

 

 

And the furniture which I waited like a bazillion four years for… the old snow palace stuff! When old CP was around, everyone used to use all the snow decor for their dividers. Oh happy days 🙂
