Greengirl816 Inventory Catalog

Good morning penguins! This is my first post after the desktop version of Club Penguin has closed… Anyways, I went through and screenshotted my inventory as promised! I have over 100 pages of items in my player card inventory but I skipped through my “pins” section and saved those screenshots from my stampbook. I spent over 2 hours going through these screenshots and cropping them down to a reasonable size.

A couple of other things- At one point, my inventory glitched with the head items section, so I may or may not be missing some head items :/ I also went on a final shopping spree before I did this with the free membership and spent about $2ok coins on clothes, hair, accessories, shoes, etc. I had about $70k coins before my final shopping spree and I ended Club Penguin with $40k left (I spent some on igloo items too). I didn’t necessarily catalog my igloo items because of the way that’s formatted but I’ll make a separate post for that.

Anyways, enjoy my 7(ish) years worth of Club Penguin collecting!

Club Penguin Closing…

Hello Penguins,

So it has sadly been announced that yes indeed, Club Penguin is closing. I obviously have not been as involved in the penguin community in a very long time and I’ve honestly lost touch with it. A lot of the creators and friends I knew from here have moved on.

However, I will try my very hardest to make up for what I have missed. In the coming months, I’m planning on cataloging my inventory publicly- including my clothes, Puffles, furniture, igloos, etc. It will all be posted on here. I do have a new computer (at long last), so I may make it a video on there (no promises).

As for my blog, it’s staying up as far as I’m aware of. I may have to close it publicly at some point for personal reasons. With WordPress, I can password-protect my blog so only anyone who knows the password can access it.

And finally, personal matters. Now is not the time for tears, my friends. I’ve made my sappy posts in the past and I’m sure there’s plenty more to come. Again, I’ve lost touch with the community on here and have moved on. I’ve become a giant anime nerd now… whoops. My writing style has changed drastically (if you ever get a chance to, STUDY GRAMMAR. I cannot emphasize how important it is in life in general as well as making an impression online!)

Will I be playing Penguin Island? I honestly don’t know but probably not. I don’t know how it works, but I would like to preserve my username on there if it’s not taken already just in case.

Later, Greeny

Spike Hike LEAVING Club Penguin

Hello penguins… I never thought this tragic day would come, but Spike Hike is leaving Club Penguin. Here’s the official post from the man himself:

Hey penguins,

The time has come for me to waddle on to my next adventure – and so I will be leaving Disney.

Getting to spend time with you all in Club Penguin has been one of the true joys of my life, and it has been for my family too, as all three of my kids have grown up with you in the Penguin community. I want to thank you all for so many special memories and especially thank the Penguin team for all their hard work and amazing creativity over the years!!

I couldn’t make this move if I didn’t feel you were in good hands and I have to say, the best is yet to come! Project: Super Secret looks amazing and should be ready for you to beta test in the next few months.

As proof, the team has given me one more sneak peek to share and here it is: [CLICK THE PICTURE TO WATCH]

Of course, I couldn’t say goodbye without one more party and so Spike Hike will make a special farewell appearance tomorrow, Sept. 8 at 3:30pm Penguin Standard Time on the server Fog. If I don’t get the chance to see you Sept. 8, I’ll definitely be back for special events like the launch of Project: Super Secret and anniversaries!!

YOU are what makes Club Penguin so special! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Waddle On,

-Spike Hike

I would like to say THANK YOU to Spike Hike for leading the Club Penguin community and team for all these years! You’ve done an awesome job at CP and I wish you the best of luck in your future, wherever it may lead you. Without you, Project Super Secret wouldn’t have come this far and I think that the preview is awesome. It’s sad to see you leave and I’m sure the community will miss you.

Thanks for everything, Greeny ❤

Star Wars Bots?

Hi penguins, it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted… yikes! Anyways, I logged in for the Finding Dory party today (it’s so cute) and saw a penguin surrounded by other penguins. They were all moving together.

bot1

It was kind of scary, actually.

bot2

I asked the penguin in the center how he did it and all he said was “not mine”. I’m assuming most of his message got cut off by the filter. Another thing about the filter, did you know that “try our famous New England clam chowder” will go through? I found that weird.

bot10

I’m not really sure why I wrote this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Waddle on!

Finding Dory Party Coming in July!

Hey penguins! Sorry I haven’t been blogging, there isn’t much to cover about CP when you don’t have a membership :/

Anyways, here’s a post from Megg from the official blog:

Great news, penguins!

The next Club Penguin party is going to be–

Um, I can’t remember.

Sorry, this has never happened before. I’m sure it’s a cool party whatever it is.

Oh wait!

it’s something about a clam! No, no. An oyster! A mollusk? Something…?

OH YEAH! It’s the Finding Dory party! Dory, and a few of her friends will be visiting the island July 6 – August 17. (Note to self: learn to speak whale)

I’d love to hear in the comments what you think about–

Um…

A little help here?

-Club Penguin Team

I’m so happy to see this coming to Club Penguin! It’s rather fitting for a game with the ocean and I’d love to see CP’s take on this!

Here’s a cute clip someone made years ago:

Field Friday 4/29/16

Hey penguins! So my phone died and I decided to log into CP on a whim when a buddy icon popped up on one of the servers. I was lucky enough to get and see FIELD FRIDAY! Even though Polo left CP???

Either way it was pretty cool.

fieldfriday29-1

Here’s Polo’s player card (still the same as always!) I said hello and…

fieldfriday29-2

I got a postcard! Thanks so much Polo!

fieldfriday29-3

After that, he challenged us to a game of Find Four in the Ski Lodge!

fieldfriday29-4

In the Ski Lodge :0

fieldfriday29-5

Here he played with Cookiecat107 (cool username btw!)

fieldfriday29-6

As it turns out, it’s Bloo1999‘s birthday! Happy birthday, Bloo!

fieldfriday29-7

Finally, here is Polo’s igloo.

fieldfriday29-8

Here is the info for Bloo’s party:

Again, happy birthday Bloo! Thanks Polo for taking a little time out of your day to surprise everyone!

Deluxe Gingerbread Igloo Bug?

Heya penguins! So when you logged in on the 25th (or any day after really) the Merry Walrus pops up and prompts you to collect the gingerbread igloo from the advent calendar. Which I forgot to take a screenshot of.

Anyways, as a non-member, I was happy to get a free igloo only to find that…holidayigloobug

I can’t use it. In holiday parties past, the Sweet Swirl Igloo was given away for everyone even though it was basically a pink version of a previous igloo. I don’t understand why this would be available for everyone but can only be used by members other than another method to get you to buy a membership…

Polo Field Keytar Giveaway

Heya penguins!
If you didn’t know, Polo Field and his friend (not sure if he was a CP mod) have started a YouTube channel called Tiger/Wolf Cast. While neither are producing Club Penguin related content anymore, they do have much more gaming content.

Anyways, Polo Field is giving away his real trademark keytar.

In order to enter, you must be over 13 years old, a Club Penguin player, and subscribed to Tiger/Wolf Cast. With your parent’s permission, write a comment about your favorite memory of CP. The winner will be chosen in 2016.

Remember not to give your address out online! Always ask an adult first and don’t give it out to anyone you meet online.
